A rugged yet masculine man's face flashed a clear look of disappointment. He responded indifferently and then handed him a box, instructing, "Give it to that person, and have them pass it on to Skye Lawrence."
"Yes, Vice President." The driver took the box.
Just as he was about to roll down the car window, he heard the person in the back continue, "Tell her, it's the wedding gift her mother left for her. This is the last time."
"Yes, Vice President."
The driver rolled down the window, handed everything and the message to the hotel staff, and after warning him not to have any funny ideas, watched as the staff walked away.
Then he turned back to ask, "Vice President, shall we now..."
Nicholas Lawrence was silent for a moment before saying, "Let's go back!"
