After the male lead's death, his obsession lingered, refusing to enter the cycle of reincarnation, insisting on waiting for the female lead by the Bridge of Regret.
This year, then ten years, twenty years, a hundred years, two hundred years, yet he never waited for the lover who should have come to the Netherworld after death to await reincarnation.
The male lead then sold his soul, becoming a soul guide between the realms of death and living.
As long as he was a soul guide for a day, his soul would not dissipate for a day, and his memories would remain unforgettable for a day.
He was responsible for managing all affairs of the Netherworld in the mortal realm, overseeing the guiding of souls, suppressing demons of demon world, and maintaining the order that should exist in the mortal realm.
Time flew by, and a thousand years passed.
