Brooke Black curled her lips into a smile, and then she and Jane Sampson left the hotel first. Next to the hotel, Oscar Wilson started chatting with James Carter about George Gates's matters.
Back at the Black Residence, Jane Sampson got busy, with Aunt helping her. Jane almost took on all the dishes for tonight's dinner.
She initially thought James Black might not have time to return tonight to dine with everyone, and he might even have to cancel the planned outing to the home stay.
Unexpectedly, while Jane was still busy in the kitchen, James came back, even earlier than Old Master Black.
"Jane~"
James instinctively went upstairs to find Jane upon entering, but he couldn't find her after searching around and only started calling out her name loudly on his way downstairs.
Jane heard James's voice from inside the kitchen and realized he was back, quickly responding to him, "I'm in the kitchen!"
