Jane Sampson saw the fans' messages and burst into laughter, and only then did she realize the doctor was already tidying up her medical box.
"Is it done?" Jane was puzzled, glanced down at her shoulder, and noticed a creamy white ointment had been applied to her wound, carrying a faint herbal scent.
"All done." The female doctor smiled, "Did your attention being diverted mean you didn't feel any pain? It's a small wound, but your skin is sensitive, so I applied some ointment to prevent scarring."
"Thank you, doctor." Jane quickly expressed her gratitude.
"It's my duty. Continue with your work, if you need anything, give me a call." After speaking, the female doctor said to Gwendolyn Young, "Let's get together sometime. I'll head off now."
"I'll see you out." Gwendolyn got up to escort her friend out.
After the doctor left, Jane sat back down and looked at the wound on her shoulder again, then suddenly exclaimed, "Oh no!"
The shout startled everyone in the room.
