"Some buddies privately took people to find that scammer, saying, if you just return the money, this matter will be forgotten. He also wouldn't call the police, and everyone would just understand it like that."
Oscar Wilson said to this point, and asked, "Do you guys guess whether that scammer returned the money?"
"Must've returned it, right? If not, your buddy's buddies would have to call the police, calling the police leads to going to prison." Jane Sampson replied instinctively.
Oscar Wilson waved his finger at Jane Sampson and shook his head, "However, did not. That scammer told the buddies that it was impossible for him to return the money. If the people in his village knew he got scammed money and returned it, he wouldn't be able to lift his head as a human back in his hometown for the rest of his life. He'd rather go to prison."
