"She got drunk. Let's not bother with her and eat our food." Bright Sampton turned his head and whispered to Jane Sampson, "This is the first time I've seen her get so talkative when drunk."
"I am not drunk." Julie Sampton suddenly interjected.
"Yes, yes, you're not drunk, you just drank a little too much." Bright Sampton placed his hand on his forehead; a drunk person would never admit to being drunk.
"No worries, I'm almost done eating too, let's toast then. The apple juice here is so sweet." Jane Sampson raised her cup toward Julie Sampon, "It's a pity I can't drink wine with you guys."
Julie Sampton laughed, picked up the wine cup, clinked it with Jane Sampson's decisively, then tilted her head back and drank half a cup of wine, leaving Bright Sampton and Jane Sampson staring in shock.
Of the bottle of red wine, Bright Sampton only drank one-third, while the other two-thirds ended up in Julie Sampton's belly.
