"You old guy, don't laugh. Why don't I have one? Shouldn't you be the one I'm asking? Why does my brother have a wife and I don't? Isn't it because you're biased? How old was my brother when you arranged for Jane to be his wife? I'm this age now, so would you please arrange a wife for me? I'm not asking for much, just find someone like Jane."
After Peter Gingery finished speaking, Old Master Black raised his hand as if to hit him.
"You brat, go back to the base. The meal Jane prepared won't be for you!" Old Master Black scolded. "If I arrange for a girl to marry you, it would be ruining her life. I won't do something against my conscience like that."
With this line, Peter Gingery was clearly bested.
Peter Gingery backed down, afraid that if he talked back any further, he really wouldn't get any of the food on the table, so he sensibly kept quiet.
The dining table at the Black Family home was always this lively.
