Joseph Shaw painfully clutched his hair.
"Jillian Carter, I haven't even recovered from the good news of your pregnancy. I haven't yet absorbed the joy of becoming a daddy, and you've already stabbed my heart, time and time again."
Joseph gently tapped his chest with his finger, "It's dead here, died along with the child you killed. Jillian Carter, congratulations, from now on, you're free. No one will bother you and control you like I did anymore."
Joseph took step after step backward.
He kept retreating until he reached the doorway of the ward, then closed his eyes, and spoke slowly and deliberately.
"Jillian Carter, we divorcee, when you get discharged, we will divorcee."
Joseph's words stunned everyone in the ward.
