Julie Sampson would've been better off not mentioning the last part, but since she did, Jane could only respond with a cold laugh.
"Julie, ever since I left the Sampson Family, I've had nothing to do with them, as you wished. Your daddy and mommy are solely yours, Julie Sampson's, and have nothing to do with me, Jane Sampson. The shares you wanted back have already been dealt with by the lawyer, and they're back in dad's hands now."
Jane let out a mocking laugh, "So, Julie Sampson, why would I bother with someone who's just an outsider to me?"
