"Go down."
"Yes."
She quickly excused herself.
In the room, the man standing beside the coffee table halted his steps, slightly leaned down, picked up a small piece of pastry from the table, and looked at it for a few moments.
He remembered it wasn't placed in this position yesterday.
Someone had moved it.
His bloodless lips curled into a slight smile as he reached out his fingers, picked up the small pastry and examined it for a moment, then opened his mouth and took a bite.
Within the faintly sweet taste, he seemed to envision that person curiously examining the pastry, his cold brows softened a little. Sitting on the sofa, he felt a familiar fatigue creeping from his limbs. He slowly collapsed onto the sofa, his fingers hadn't finished the pastry which fell and rolled onto the carpet with a "gurulu" sound.

Aldana Candi "saw" the person coming in again.
She lay on the bed, hearing the gentle footsteps approaching, until they paused before her.
