"Miss Candi, these are the dim sums freshly steamed by the chef."
The maid placed a basket of osmanthus cakes in front of her.
Aldana Candi raised her head, and upon seeing the colorful pastries, she was momentarily stunned.
The glistening, translucent glutinous rice skins, with osmanthus flowers kneaded into them, emitted a faint aromatic scent in the air. It was filled with red bean paste, steaming hot, the aroma wafting directly toward her.
With a complex expression, Aldana Candi reached out and took a piece of the dim sum, tasted it, and then her face slightly darkened.
She lowered her gaze, lost in her thoughts.

Aldana Candi had a bit of breakfast, then went for a walk outside the villa alone.
The island was picturesque; any spot could have been a stunning magazine cover. She found a shaded spot under a tree, comfortably laid down, crossed her hands over her abdomen, and closed her eyes for a little nap.
