Anne's eyebrows drooped, and she sat listlessly beside him, hugging her legs, gazing at the enormous ship anchored on the sea.
It was the largest ship she had ever seen, the sturdiest, the tallest, unparalleled. A ship that can take everyone from the island away.
The ship seemed like an island.
It represented the island of the outside world.
She asked, "Can I go on the ship tomorrow and have a look?"
Philip Shaw: "Why, do you also want to leave with me?"
Anne shook her head: "No, I just want to see what kind of world cultivated someone like you."
Philip Shaw let out a soft hum, a bit smug: "Even outside, not everyone is as excellent as me."
Anne laughed, but the emotions of heartbreak and farewell lingered in her heart, causing her lips to droop quickly.
Philip Shaw said, "The outside isn't as good as you imagine, don't think too much."
"If it's not good, why are you willing to go back..."
