She collapsed powerlessly on the sofa, her chest rising and falling continuously. Looking up at Steven Balance, whose face was filled with desire and complexity, she slowly lifted her head and glanced toward the door of Liam Summer's laboratory.

Her vision went black as Steven Balance reached out to block her view.
"What are you doing!" She snapped back to her senses, reached out to push Steven Balance away, and crawled out of his arms, moving to sit on the side of the sofa, creating some distance.
