Steven stood behind her, not saying much else, just helping Aldana reach the food she couldn't so she could place it on the plate.

By the time Aldana stopped moving, the small silver plate was piled high with food.
The maid nearby looked at the exaggerated little plate, covering her mouth and laughing, "Miss Candi, Miss Moore can't eat this much for lunch."
Aldana looked at the towering food and suddenly came to her senses, clumsily reaching out to take off the fruit salad on top.
Steven stopped her hand, chuckled softly, and said, "Since you chose them, let's send them all over."
Aldana's face turned a little red, and she felt slightly embarrassed doing such a childish thing as an adult.
Steven had the servant move the pile of food aside, then smiled and asked, "Do you want to deliver Philip's portion yourself?"
"No way." Aldana put the tongs back onto the plate, "Why should I care what he eats."
