"Steven, that's enough!"
Liam Summer, usually calm, interrupted him.
He straightened up and looked at the tense-faced Steven Balance, saying, "You're a bit out of control. Go out and calm down. I'll handle things here."
Steven glared at him with a sinister gaze, as if something was burning in those black pupils.
"Hurting her won't make you feel any better," Liam said calmly. "If you really can't control yourself, go to the counseling room and get some guidance. Your random outbursts aren't good for anyone."
"..." Steven was silent for a moment, then glanced at Aldana Candi, who was hugging her knees with a pale, expressionless face. Without a word, he pushed open the door and walked out.
"Let me treat your wound first," Liam said softly to Aldana. "Later, we'll check the muscles in your foot in the surgery room to see if there's a rupture. If there is, we'll need to operate again..."
