When Norris finished breakfast, Trenton was back.
She walked out from the dining room, saw the man looking all dressed up, and went over to tidy up his collar, "Where did you go? Have you eaten?"
The man looked down at her and smiled, reaching out to hold her wrist, "No. Have a meal with me."
She glanced at the smile on his face, gave a light hum, and let him lead her to the dining room.
Trenton seemed hungry, sitting there eating intently.
Norris sat opposite at the table, resting her face on her hands, watching him bathed in sunlight.
His fair and clear skin seemed to glow slightly in the sunlight, looking quite unlike the Trenton who was holding her and crying last night.
Could it be that he wasn't fully awake last night?
Did he remember some tragic childhood memory?
But it can't be ruled out that perhaps she was so tormented by him last night that she hallucinated.
The crying Trenton, no matter how she thought about it, seemed unbelievable.
