Trenton Smith's actions were something Norris Moore was completely unaware of.
The matter between Luke Moore and Abigail Moore had already reached a conclusion, and neither of them had come looking for her again.
She also hadn't brought up their issues to Trenton Smith anymore.
Elias Moore seemed to have caught on to what had transpired between them. Although he didn't say anything, his expression when he looked at Norris occasionally carried hints of words left unsaid.
Norris had no intention of telling him what happened back then. Even if it needed to be said, it would have to wait until he was an adult. She merely told him he would always be her younger brother in her eyes, and the people and matters of the Moore Family wouldn't diminish her feelings towards him.
Those few words from Norris alleviated the restlessness in the young boy's heart, and he stopped testing Norris's attitude toward him, whether intentionally or otherwise.
