Ronald Loman chuckled softly; he had orchestrated the entire thing himself, so how could he let the media write nonsense and hurt her again.
Even so, he still put on an act and reminded her, "Because now everyone still thinks I sacrificed myself, nobody would imagine I'm with you. But things are pretty heated lately, so if you go out, you should still be careful, in case some shameless journalist makes stuff up."
Annie Taylor nodded, feeling that what Ronald Loman said made sense, so she didn't think too much more about it.
Until two days later, after the two of them finished breakfast together, Ronald Loman changed into a different set of clothes, clearly getting ready to go out.
Annie Taylor, who had been watching TV o the sofa, couldn't help asking, "You're going out?"
"Yeah, the timing's almost right. I figure the Old Sir is at the home place just waiting for me to go back." Ronald Loman walked over and asked Annie Taylor for a kiss.
