Riley Sully just stood there in a standstill, even forgetting to push him away.
She only felt that he was holding her very tightly, with a force so strong that it made even breathing seem difficult, as if he was afraid she might vanish into thin air.
Was he really worried?
Was he really worried about myself?
For some reason, when realizing this point, Riley's heart inexplicably felt a faint happiness that even she couldn't describe.
"I… I thought you didn't care that much." After a long while, Riley lowered her eyes and spoke softly.
She truly believed he didn't care that much.
Though she heard from Hankie that he was looking for her news, she thought he was just momentarily angry, or perhaps momentarily worried, and once he searched a few locations, he would let it be, surely thinking it was too much trouble to bother with her.
But she didn't expect that for five whole days, he had been looking for her.
Was she... really that important to him?
