Joshua Sulliven lowered his head to look at the stains on his body, then raised his head to watch Keira Leaf's gradually disappearing back, his gaze deep and inscrutable, yet he said nothing.
Not long after, Keira Leaf returned with a cup of warm coffee, placing it beside Joshua Sulliven as she spoke, "Drink this, it's warm, good for your stomach."
Joshua Sulliven once again took the coffee, didn't ask much, drank a few sips, and put it aside.
Keira Leaf finally breathed a sigh of relief, stood by his side watching him work for a while until he looked up at her and said, "Go to sleep first."
Keira Leaf nodded, returned to bed, but tossed and turned a bit.
Closing her eyes while listening to the gentle sound of paper turning inside the room, Keira Leaf felt a bit restless. She had just missed such a good opportunity and stupidly offered to replace his coffee, really infuriating!
Keira Leaf's fingers gently curled as she calculated that she needed to find another opportunity.
