"What are you doing?" Joshua Sulliven frowned as he looked at her.
"Since you think I'm that kind of vain woman, why bother helping me? Why stop Lewis Brandon from doing what he wants? How do you know I wouldn't want to go with him?" Keira Leaf spoke coldly.
"What did you say?" Joshua Sulliven's gaze grew a few shades darker as he slammed on the brakes, pulling the car to the roadside.
"Forget it if you can't hear, I don't want to waste my breath on you anymore!"
When the words fell, Keira Leaf opened the car door, about to get off.
But just as the car door cracked open slightly, Jacob Sydney suddenly stepped forward, yanking the door shut. Immediately, the door locked, and Keira Leaf could no longer open it!
"Jacob Sydney, let me out!" Keira Leaf repeatedly fumbled with the door handle, but it wouldn't open. She turned, red-eyed, to look at the man beside her.
