Jacob Sydney looked down at the hand Keira Leaf had on his wrist, not shaking it off, but instead looking up and letting his gaze fall on her face.
Keira felt a bit awkward as she pulled back her hand, awkwardly saying, "I'm sorry... I... I didn't mean to."
Jacob stared at her for a while, then asked again, "That's all?"
"Uh...? Ah...?"
Keira didn't quite grasp his meaning until she realized he was referring to making dinner, by then Jacob had already turned and walked back to the bedroom, and Keira couldn't worry about anything else, quickly blocking the closing room door and saying again, "Half a month's worth of dinners as my apology."
Jacob stopped his action of closing the door, and said blandly, "It's a deal then."
