Little did he know, this scene was exactly what Joshua Sulliven caught sight of as he turned back. He squinted his eyes, scrutinized her for a moment, and couldn't help but say, "What are you sneaking around for?"
Hearing the sternness in his voice, Keira Leaf was momentarily stunned, then retorted, "What sneaking around? Stop talking nonsense, alright?"
"Then why are you standing in front of my table?" Joshua Sulliven's gaze turned to his own office desk and found no signs of anything having been moved, though a slight frown appeared.
"Can't I just walk by?" Keira Leaf rolled her eyes and brushed past him.
This man really doesn't make himself easy to like. Just this morning, she thought he wasn't that annoying, and now, here he is again...
It wasn't until Keira Leaf had left that Joshua Sulliven saw the sandwich and milk on Lincoln Birch's table, and his expression softened a bit right away.
