Keira Leaf didn't know how long she had been crying. It wasn't until she opened her eyes again that she realized it was already dark. Her eyes were swollen and uncomfortable, making her vision a bit blurry.
The hazy ceiling seemed unfamiliar, making her almost believe it was just a nightmare. But when she turned to look out the window, she realized it was all true, everything was true!
