Looking at the contract with the black letters on white paper before her, Keira Leaf's eyes were slightly damp, and her throat felt tight, as if she had eaten bitter herbs, making it hard to utter a word.
The doctor, aware of Keira Leaf's status, did not rush and patiently waited by her side.
Keira Leaf gripped the pen tightly, her palm sweating so much that the pen was slipping from her grasp, and she couldn't hold it properly.
"Felicity?" Seeing this, Annie Taylor spoke softly.
"Huh?" Keira Leaf snapped out of her daze, looking at her somewhat confused, then lowered her head to look at the signature sheet in front of her, as if only now realizing what she was about to do.
