Jackson Sully gently rubbed his wrist, feeling somewhat unaccustomed to being so close to him.
"So what do you want to hear? Do you want to hear me say that I've always loved you and never changed?" Jackson Sully asked with a light chuckle, sitting on his lap, able to clearly sense the warmth from him.
Shane Winchester pressed his lips together without speaking. Her smile was beautiful, as if it was the first time she had smiled at him in days.
But her smile was cold, with not a trace of warmth, yet carried an inexplicable sarcasm.
"Do you want to hear me say that even though you deceived me for four years, I still love you? Or that despite causing me to wander without a home in my youth, I still love you? Or that after my miscarriage, you disappeared, yet I still love you?" Jackson Sully kept chuckling lightly, as if discussing something insignificant.
Shane Winchester's whole body was tense, but the sharpness he had before was vulnerable under her airy words.
