Amelia's footsteps slowly halted, her eyelashes trembling lightly as if she realized something. She turned again to look at Victoria Carter.
Victoria smiled and said, "Alexandra Lee is nothing more than a decoy to catch your attention. Do you really think Shane Winchester cares about her?"
Amelia clenched her fist without speaking, while Victoria stood up and spoke again, "I'm afraid Shane hasn't trusted you for quite some time. That's why he keeps using Alexandra to provoke you. His purpose… is simply to ensure you keep fixated on her."
Amelia didn't respond, her throat felt choked, constricted and raw.
Victoria picked up a stack of documents and photos from the cabinet beside her, walked up to Amelia, and handed them over, saying, "Take a look. He's been searching for Jackson Sully all along. It's just a pity that he doesn't seem to want you to know."
