Alexandra Lee frowned and looked at her ankle, moving it slightly. It hurt a bit, but it didn't seem to be caused by the collision with that woman just now. Instead, it felt like the sprain from a few days ago hadn't healed, and now, with this collision, a fiery pain had flared up again.
"It seems sprained," Alexandra said softly, her tone a little displeased.
The woman next to her, nervous, glanced at her ankle and then helped her to a nearby stool, immediately saying, "I'll go get the medicine right away. Wait here."
After the woman hurriedly left, Alexandra's gaze landed on a shoebox in front of her.
The shoebox was the item the woman had been holding earlier. Because of the collision, the lid had slid open. Alexandra lightly lifted the lid with her hand and caught a glimpse of a pair of silver high heels inside, sparkling brilliantly.
Alexandra stared at the shoes, spellbound, unable to take her eyes off them for a moment.
