So, what Harrison Lucas saw was Ben Lucas taking out the ring box and placing it on the table, opening it, but she didn't continue to stay, missing the moment when Ben Lucas closed the ring box and put it away.
If that woman is Miss Darling, then all the scenarios Harrison Lucas imagined were misunderstandings.
So, all of this is just a story she made up?
A result of her uncontainable imagination?
Harrison Lucas couldn't quite believe it; she hadn't expected that everything she believed in was merely nothing.
So, she's been misunderstanding the young master all along. Ben Lucas didn't actually like another woman, nor was there any talk of a 'shield'.
Has he liked her all along?
Suddenly, Harrison Lucas recalled what Ben Lucas had just said, her face showing an overly surprised reaction.
She, slightly stunned, then looking at him in shock, with her small mouth slightly open, said: "You... you plan to propose to me?"
How can this be!
No, that's not right!
