That night, upon hearing that his son had a fever, he immediately rushed to the hospital.
Tara Hammond had already spent the whole day with their son and was exhausted. Worried about their daughter at home, Theodore told Tara to go back to care for Evelyn Lucas.
It was at that moment Nolan Lucas woke up.
The first words out of his mouth were, "Dad, why were Auntie and Uncle rolling around in bed together?"
At the time, Theodore thought his son had accidentally stumbled across some filthy content online. He didn't take it seriously and even sternly lectured Nolan.
But thinking back now... those words were Nolan's way of warning and testing him.
Though still a child too young to understand love between a man and a woman, Nolan already had a faint sense that his mother had wronged his father.
So, he deliberately called his mother "Auntie."
