"Alright, everyone, let's settle down."
Albert Lucas, the eldest among those present, spoke up.
"Theodore, what are you doing? We're all of the same bloodline, and today was supposed to be about discussing your matter. Why are you kneeling? Get up, get up..."
Albert Lucas personally stood up and walked over to Theodore Lucas, intending to help him up, but was abruptly interrupted by a cold and indifferent voice.
"Uncle, you'd best not help him."
Aidan Lucas sat directly across from Theodore Lucas.
Even with his biological father kneeling right in front of him, Mr. Lucas remained completely unmoved.
He showed no concern for the fact that a son forcing his father to kneel was an outrageous breach of ethics.
He gazed down at the pathetic display of a 'family' kneeling on the ground, playing the victim.
The curve of his lips formed a cruel smile.
"Aidan, what do you mean by this? He is your father!" Uncle turned his head toward Aidan Lucas, his tone shaken by his actions.
