Emily Taylor was stunned for quite a while before she finally snapped back from her daze.
"So it was your friend who got drunk... You had me worried there..." Emily Taylor had seen her fair share of storms; even though she was still shaken, she quickly calmed herself down.
She picked up the remote control and turned on the television.
"By the way, I've been having insomnia these past few nights, and I just found a TV series that's quite good. It should be starting about now... let me see..."
As the sound of the television program amplified, the living room instantly became much livelier.
