After Austin Lucas left, Lily returned to the mansion.
As soon as she entered, she saw Emily Taylor approaching in a nervous manner.
"Lily, that man outside just now... it was Austin Lucas, right? What did he come to see you for? Does he want to get back together with you?"
Austin Lucas waited outside the Lucas family's home for the entire day, and Emily Taylor watched from a window on the third floor the whole time.
With her son not around, and her daughter-in-law in such demand, she felt compelled to keep a close watch on behalf of her son.
"Mom, you're thinking too far ahead. He came because he feels guilty, thinking he wronged me in the past, so he gave me a hint about Theodore Lucas's weakness," Lily said.
"What, he's willing to reveal Theodore Lucas's trump card to you?!" Emily Taylor couldn't help but raise her voice.
And to think he has no interest in Lily?!
