"What do you mean..." Victoria Gibson was about to speak when her cell phone rang, the abrupt ringtone interrupting the conversation.
She gestured to Jeremy Rivers before she fished out the cell phone from her pocket.
She answered it.
"Victoria, I'll give you one minute to appear in front of me, or your bed photos will be exposed." Chad Yakov's magnetic voice lazily came through the telephone.
The devilish words from his mouth sounded like he was asking her if she wanted to come back for a meal.
Victoria's hand holding the cell phone trembled, almost dropping it.
Suppressing the urge to curse loudly, she gritted her teeth, "Mr. Chad, I'm not at the Company now, there's really no way I can show up in a minute..."
"Ten minutes, no more than that. If you don't appear, bear the consequences yourself." Chad Yakov finished speaking and then hung up the phone.
Victoria stared at the dark phone screen, dazed for a few seconds, before she suddenly stood up.
