Knowing Harrison Yale went abroad on a business trip, she didn't even have the mood to seek trouble with Emma Aiden.
At least for a week, she hadn't seen Emma. Harrison Yale could easily find out she wasn't lying.
"You're smart, you knew I would come looking for you, so you prepared in advance, staying away from Emma for a whole week, so even if she received any text message, it has nothing to do with you, right?"
Harrison Yale picked up the water cup on the table, took a sip, and looked at Amelia Lawrence with dark eyes.
Amelia was immediately flustered.
"I don't understand what you're saying, what text message? I never sent Emma any text message. You can't blame me for anything that happens to Emma just because we've had some misunderstandings in the past. It's not fair to me!"
Amelia suddenly stood up from the chair.
Realizing they were in a public place, she controlled herself and sat back down.
