Zoe Yale's nervousness was suddenly eased considerably by his words.
After hanging up the phone, she went to the wardrobe, picked a knee-length small dress to change into, then grabbed her carry-on bag, and headed downstairs.
Carefully avoiding people in the Yale Family Estate, she ran towards the gate.
As soon as she reached the entrance, she saw Charles White had parked the car by the roadside.
She jogged forward, reached out to open the car door, and sat inside.
Before she could speak, Charles White had already buckled her seatbelt.
"Did you bring clothes?" Charles White asked after fastening the seatbelt and not leaving, but rather looked up, glancing at her palm-sized face.
Seeing her flushed face, he couldn't help but pinch it gently.
"Clothes? Why would I need to bring clothes?" Zoe Yale asked dumbfoundedly.
She was only focused on how to escape without her father finding out and hadn't remembered to bring any clothes.
