Not far from the riverside, there was a massive building, looming darkly in the night, with only a few dim yellow lights dotting the vast darkness, faintly revealing intricate patterns carved near the light.
Tianxing looked at Yuntian in confusion, wondering why they came here in the dead of night with everything so dark.
Yuntian first took out a mini handheld computer, fiddled with it for a moment, then put the device back into his coat pocket. He retrieved a bulging bag from the car, walked over to Tianxing, and gestured for silence.
Taking her hand, they both headed toward the building shrouded in the night.
Though bewildered, Tianxing kept silent, following him, and matched her steps softly as they approached.
After circling the building for a short distance, at a spot where the wall was slightly lower, Yuntian checked the surroundings before advancing to lift Tianxing, hoisting her up onto the wall.
