There was a pause, "Why did he scold you?"
Yuntian's thin lips curved up slightly, knowing she was overthinking again. He looked up and pinched her nose, "Don't think too much. Every time I go home, Dad scolds me. It has nothing to do with you."
"Really?" Tianxing's nose was pinched, and she spoke in a nasal muffled voice, unexpectedly cute.
Yuntian couldn't help but laugh, "Yes."
Tianxing pouted, stretched her hand out from under the blanket, and pushed his hand away.
"You've been in the country all this time. How did you upset your mom?"
The smile on Yuntian's face faded a bit, "It's nothing. My mom won't be back for a while. You should rest a bit more."
He raised his hand and tucked the blanket around her more securely.
This guy was clearly trying to change the subject, but she wanted to learn more to think about how to handle the situation later.
