What should I say to him? King Vorn's eyes look at me intensely.
"How do I get the engagement nullified?" I asked.
He was quiet, not speaking at all.
"I will let you know when the engagement nullification papers are to be signed," he muttered.
"Thank you, King Vorn," I said.
"So, how is Eastbrone Land treating you, Lady Esme?" he asked.
"Treating me fairly and not with hostility, if that's what you're asking," I said a bit sternly. He smirked.
"You seem to like Eastbrone Land more than the Western Lands," he muttered, sounding a little offended.
I hate the Western Lands if you ask me, but I can't express my feelings to King Vorn.
"I'm sorry if that's what you took from my words, King Vorn. I mean, everything is going well," I said calmly. He just looked at me.
