Adrian Desmond came out of the hospital and went to the school to pick up his daughter.
Usually, it was Kathryn who picked up Curly, but since Adrian was returning to Abyanabad and didn't know when he would come back, he specially came to pick her up.
Adrian planned to use this short time to spend with her.
"Bye-bye, see you tomorrow." At the school gate, Curly waved goodbye to her classmates and teachers and walked out with George.
"Curly!" Adrian called.
"Daddy..." Curly was so excited to see Adrian at the school gate, she rushed over, and Adrian bent down to pick her up, "Not much homework today, right?"
Curly pressed her lips together and said, "There's a lot. When is there ever not a lot of homework?" Curly showed her hand to her father and said, "Dad, look, my hand has calluses from writing."
"Let me see." Sure enough, Adrian saw a thin callus on Curly's finger, and he said, "How about we transfer to another school and not stay here?"
