"Stay away, he's my dad, not your dad! You're not allowed to hold my dad!"
Curly saw someone holding her dad's leg, trying to steal him away. She wouldn't stand for it! The little princess ran over and fiercely pushed Devin Desmond to the ground.
Devin Desmond fell on his bottom, stunned, and then began to wail.
"You leave! Do not steal my dad!" Curly shouted.
George ran over and grabbed Curly's hand. "He can't steal Dad away. He's not your dad's son!"
Curly was not easily fooled. She stared at her father and demanded, "What's going on? Why did this little kid come out and call you dad? Didn't you say I was your only daughter?"
However much Adrian Desmond had looked forward to this wedding, that was how furious he felt now. He worried Sienna Johnson would be resentful and cancel the wedding in a fit of anger. Now, his daughter's interrogation made him utterly humiliated.
