Adrian had initially wanted to tease her a bit more, but he was afraid of pushing her too far and truly angering Sienna, so he stopped.

After their little squabble, they got back in the car, but Sienna wasn't as willing to hold onto him as she had been before. This was because of what Adrian had said in the woods earlier, which had nearly made Sienna lose her temper.
"Hey, if you don't hold on tight and get thrown off later, I won't want you anymore if your face gets ruined," Adrian joked.
Sienna's face tightened. Thinking about what this man had done to her earlier, she said angrily, "Who knows if you won't be driven by lust again later."
"I'm in a good mood, so I won't stoop to arguing with a woman."
"Just drive quickly. Don't keep Mike waiting. What if he leaves?" Sienna urged.
"He's just a professional manager. You weren't this anxious when you were meeting me," Adrian said jealously.
