"What's so bad about it?"
"When you have too much of something, you fail to appreciate it!" Sienna replied slowly. "I do not want Curly to grow up into a spoiled, barbaric Miss."
Sienna doted on her daughter, but she never pampered her excessively. She hoped that even if Curly grew up in a wealthy environment, she would not be blinded by luxury.
"Sienna, you're overthinking," Adrian said.
"Hopefully," Sienna replied.
「Ivy Kindergarten」
At dismissal time, private cars filled the area fifty meters outside Ivy Kindergarten. Sienna and her party had arrived late, so their car was parked quite far from the school.
Kiki always picked Curly up. Curly's curly hair made her stand out in the crowd. She was popular at school, waving goodbye to this person and that, a constant smile on her face.
"Godmother, there's someone always on my mind; I'm always thinking about her," Curly had once confided.
"Who is it? And why are you always thinking about her?"
