An hour later, his phone suddenly rang. Adrian Desmond thought it was news about Sienna Johnson and quickly answered, "Hello, Adrian Desmond speaking."

"Melanie?" Adrian Desmond's voice couldn't hide its disappointment. He had thought it was an update on the search for Sienna Johnson. He rubbed his temples, remembering he had left Melanie Carpenter alone at the hotel.
"Are you still at the hotel?"
