"And add one more clause!" Adrian Desmond thought for a moment, holding the signing pen.
"What should I add?"
"Within one year, if I die, this stock transfer agreement is void."
Without waiting for Maxwell Bradford's agreement, Adrian swiftly added this sentence to the end of the document. Maxwell, puzzled, asked, "What's the reason for this?"
"Maxwell Bradford, I'm giving you my most profitable business. I don't want you to betray me and prevent me from leaving here today."
"Don't worry. I said I would let you go, and I will. After all, you still have my son in your hands, don't you?"
Maxwell naturally preferred his son over a woman.
Adrian sneered, "As long as you know."
"Don't believe the nonsense this woman just said! If you could have a son by a woman, you would have had a football team of sons by now, emerging from Agaia," Adrian said sarcastically.
Adrian was saying that Maxwell's inability to have a son was his problem, not the women's.
