Chapter 911 - Chapter 911: Charles’s Arrival

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Golden light rained down from above, and with each impact, the terrifying sounds of explosions echoed as if each arrow were a high-yield missile.

Under Tony Stark's gaze, the ground began to crumble, the entire street turning to rubble, with smoke and dust blanketing the battlefield.

"Is it... possible to survive that?" Tony wondered aloud, uncertain whether Mei Terumi could have escaped such an assault.

Ao, Chojuro, and others looked pale and distressed, also doubted that anyone could survive such an attack.

Was their Fifth Mizukage about to perish just as they'd reunited with her in this strange world?

Gilgamesh shook his head, sighing, "She didn't have time to dodge."

But Ao, with his Byakugan active, saw something remarkable within the smoke. With a slight thrill in his voice, he shouted, "No, Lord Mizukage is unharmed!"

At that moment, Jarvis's voice sounded within Tony's armor, "Sir, detecting a massive biological energy source."

"Huh?" Tony was taken aback.

Did Mei summon some massive defensive beast?

As the smoke finally cleared, an enormous three-tailed turtle stood in the crater, sheltering Mei Terumi beneath its colossal body.

In the crucial moment, Mei had summoned Isobu, the Three-Tails, to shield her from Thena's attack.

Tony's eyes widened in surprise as he saw the creature.

"What kind of summoned beast is this? It's enormous!"

Ao and his comrades, now overjoyed, exclaimed, "The Three-Tails!"

They could hardly believe their eyes. It was unprecedented for Mizukage to summon the Three-Tails directly, as it had traditionally only been used as a Jinchuriki.

In fact, the very concept of summoning a Tailed Beast as a battle companion was unheard of among ninja.

Since arriving in this new world, they'd found they could summon various creatures, like ninja turtles, dogs, and snakes.

Yet, attempts to summon a Tailed Beast had consistently failed.

When they sought answers, the Tailed Beasts had told them their chakra reserves were insufficient and their strength were too weak.

Though disappointed by the rejection, they had accepted it. They hadn't even dreamed of summoning Tailed Beasts before, as their chakra wouldn't allow it.

But now, seeing the Fifth Mizukage successfully summoning the Three-Tails filled them with pride—this was, indeed, the caliber of someone worthy of leading the village.

Tony, meanwhile, thought back to the battle of New York. Hadn't there also been a giant creature there? Did this summon bear any relation?

As he pondered, Isobu, infuriated by the attack, began gathering chakra, forming a large, dense sphere.

"Bijuu Bomb!"

Recognizing the imminent danger, Tony suddenly understood what this was and why Isobu was known as the Three-Tails—the massive creature indeed bore three tails.

In New York, another beast had used this same attack, though with only a single tail.

Realizing the scale of destruction this could cause, Tony shouted urgently, "Stop! Don't do it!"

Having witnessed the devastating power of the Bijuu Bomb, Tony feared the number of casualties such an attack could bring, especially in a densely populated area, where the result would be catastrophic.

Just then, a spatial portal suddenly appeared in front of Tony and the others. Out of it, Charles Doyle's figure emerged.

Tony saw Charles Doyle and immediately shouted, "Charles, stop the Tailed Beast Bomb!"

Stepping out of the portal, Charles glanced at the massive Three-Tails summoned in front of him, along with the enormous Tailed Beast Bomb it had gathered, his eyes narrowing in surprise.

How had things escalated this far?

Hearing Tony's voice, Charles vanished in an instant, reappearing above Isobu, the Three-Tails.

By this time, Isobu had already fully charged the Tailed Beast Bomb and launched it directly at Thena.

"Hiraishin!"

In a swift motion, Charles threw several kunai marked with the Hiraishin technique into the path of the advancing Tailed Beast Bomb.

Tony's eyes widened as he saw the bomb hurtling forward; instinctively reaching out, he yelled, "No!"

The next second, before anyone could react, the Tailed Beast Bomb vanished from sight.

Over the Atlantic Ocean, the Tailed Beast Bomb reappeared, exploding in the ocean's depths.

Boom!

A colossal mushroom cloud rose from the Atlantic, sending hundred-meter-high waves crashing down. Several cargo ships en route from Japan to New York were overturned and swept into the deep ocean by the waves.

Seeing the Tailed Beast Bomb disappear, Tony let out a sigh of relief. His good friend Charles was indeed reliable, capable of even redirecting such a destructive attack.

But wait—redirect? Where did it go?

Charles, after relocating the Tailed Beast Bomb, activated his Mangekyou Sharingan and instantly appeared in front of Thena.

"Tsukuyomi!"

Using his Mangekyou Sharingan, Charles immediately pulled Thena's consciousness into the Tsukuyomi space, where he began the process of memory sealing.

While Gilgamesh and the others had no idea what Mahd Wy'ry is, Charles understood it well—it was a result of disordered memories.

If he could seal away Thena's chaotic memories, she would escape this frenzied state.

After all, memories of planetary destruction and the awareness of her guardianship purpose had been a heavy burden on Thena.

As Charles continued his work within the Tsukuyomi space, Thena's chaotic memories were gradually sealed away.

In the Tsukuyomi space, Thena awakened, looking around at the man in front of her and the surreal environment.

She murmured, "Charles… my Mahd Wy'ry acted up again, didn't it?"

Charles nodded, "It's taken care of now, and my strength has improved lately, so this seal should last longer. I'm confident it will hold for at least two or three years."

Relieved, Thena stepped forward and gave Charles a hug, "I didn't cause too much damage this time, did I?"

Charles's hand, hovering behind Thena, stiffened.

She had destroyed two city blocks—more damage than the Hulk's last rampage and second only to the Chitauri invasion. This was no small amount of destruction.
