At the center of the battle, the scene was a horrific mess. Limbs and blood covered the ground, with all those who hadn't managed to flee lying dead from the onslaught of Gilgamesh and Thena.
Gilgamesh raised his hand, looking at Thena with her weapon drawn, and called softly, "Thena!"
But in response, Thena swung her weapon violently toward him.
Clang!
Though his armored gauntlet blocked the blow, the force of her attack forced him to step back.
Meanwhile, a few blocks away, Cross stood on a rooftop, watching the battle through an 8x scope.
"What terrifying power. Luckily, I got out of there quickly."
The destruction these two are causing far surpassed what those enhanced with any form of serum could achieve, even beyond Type III—the top serum which was never sold.
No one he knew would stand a chance.
After assessing the situation, Cross pulled out his phone and dialed Ginny. He needed to report this immediately.

Members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, including Ameyuri Ringo, Jinin Akebino, and Jinpachi Munashi, had just finished mastering this world's knowledge in the summoning realm.
Carrying the new Mizukage cloaks, they exited the summoning realm.
Upon emerging from a secluded alley, they immediately noticed people running frantically down the street as the sounds of battle echoed nearby.
Jinpachi Munashi took hold of his long sword and frowned, "I'm not sensing any chakra."
Boom!
Just as he spoke, a figure came hurtling through the air like a cannonball from the nearby block.
It was Thena, who had been sent flying by one of Gilgamesh's punches, crashing into the street where the three were standing.
Seeing this, Jinin Akebino and Ameyuri Ringo's interest was piqued.
"Well, well, is this one of this world's strong fighters?"
Gilgamesh ran toward them, calling out to the remaining civilians on the street, "Run! Get out of here!"
Those already fleeing quickened their pace, though a few thrill-seekers remained to watch.
Jinin Akebino glanced at Gilgamesh and laughed, turning to his comrades, "Didn't expect our luck to be this good—running into a powerful fighter of this world right away."
The three had no idea who Gilgamesh was and assumed he was one of Earth's top warriors.
Beside him, Ameyuri Ringo nodded, "This is a good chance to gauge the strength of this world's best."
Jinpachi Munashi, however, added, "Looks like our task of delivering this Mizukage cloak to Mei Terumi will have to wait."
Just as he finished speaking, Thena burst from the rubble and launched a wide, sweeping assault with her spear, her attacks fierce and indiscriminate.

Several unlucky people who hadn't managed to escape from their cars were instantly sliced in half along with their vehicles.
Seeing this level of destruction, Jinpachi Munashi and his two comrades' expressions turned serious. This woman was not simple; her attacks were both powerful and incredibly precise.
Clang!
Gilgamesh, with his armored gauntlet glowing, moved forward to block Thena's assault.
"Thena!" he called, but she showed no response and resumed her attacks. The two continued to clash, the force of their blows rippling outward and affecting everything around them.
Jinpachi spoke up, "The fight is getting too close to us; let's pull back."
At that moment, a car door flew toward them. Jinpachi swung his sword, slicing the door in half and sending the pieces flying to either side.
Akebino Jinin and Ameyuri Ringo quickly moved to the side, clearly not interested in getting involved. This fight had nothing to do with them or their mission; they were just here to gather some intel in passing.
However, just as Thena knocked Gilgamesh away with a powerful blow, her gaze turned toward the three still lingering near the battle.
In the next instant, she rushed at Akebino Jinin, bringing her weapon down in a powerful, overhead strike.
Seeing the oncoming attack, Akebino raised his explosive blade to block.
Clang!
His arms trembled under the impact.
'What incredible strength,' he thought.
Boom!
In the next second, the explosive tags on his blade, Shibuki, detonated, catching Thena off guard and blasting her backward.
Akebino quickly followed, brandishing Shibuki and attacking Thena midair.
"Explosive Blade: Rapid Strike!"
He leaped up, aiming a deadly slash at Thena's waist, intending to bisect her in a single blow.
Thena, still airborne from the explosion, conjured a shield in her hand, blocking his attack.
Clang!
Akebino then swung at another angle, aiming to strike her before she could land and regain balance.
Clang! Clang!
Thena deflected each of his rapid attacks, and just before she landed, Akebino prepared one final explosive strike.
Boom!
A burst of flames erupted between them, shrouding Thena in a cloud of smoke and fire.
When the smoke cleared, Thena's body bore charred marks from the explosion, yet she seemed largely unharmed.
"Kill!" she shouted coldly, gripping her shield in one hand and her spear in the other as she charged at Akebino.
"Explosive Blade: Ground Splitter!"
Akebino drove Shibuki into the ground, causing explosions to erupt in Thena's path as a series of explosive tags detonated.
A smile crept onto his face. With the woman charging head-on, she was surely done for.
