Recovery of Havana was met with ease. The city was essentially demolished by whatever waylaid it. With no one powerful enough to have stopped the attack nearby the amount of survivors were negligible. It took days to properly move the rubble.
Sorcerers that specialize in earth or spatial magic took things slowly. People were a lot more delicate when injured. Because of that, each bit of debris was moved as if what was beneath them was a delicate piece of glass that one touch could shatter. The worse thing as the men and women worked they could hear whimpers hear and there die out to merely whisper and then nothing.
