Wen Yun Province.
Jing Nan City.
As the sun reached its zenith, the thick layers of snow began to melt.
The melting snow turned into streams that eventually flowed into the moat.
On the city wall, the soldiers clad in heavy armor marched in formation, patrolling the wall.
In front of the city gate, a long line formed, and only after the gate soldiers inspected, could one enter the city.
The moat surrounding Jing Nan City is nearly a hundred meters wide at its longest point, and regular troops can only enter the city via the drawbridge of each gate. Once the drawbridge is raised, this city becomes like a spiked iron barrel, defensive and impenetrable.
Jing Nan City has four gates.
East, West, South, North gates.
The guard posts at all four gates are equally rigorous, leaving no gaps to exploit.
"Didn't expect that you'd need a 'Passage Order' to enter the city."
