Miriana's POV,
"I think Miriana hid '''that thing ''' somewhere else ", said Kilian with an annoyed voice.
"Now I really want to know what is '''THAT THING '''?????" I asked them , while standing up from the couch.
I was walking towards Kilian with a serious face. And he was going backwards. Why dude?? Why are you getting so scared?? You can just tell me what '''THAT THING''' is!!!!!!
"Miriana...it's just a little object. Not that important. Kilian is just worried about you." , said Kiana , while walking towards me.
"If it's really just a small object, and not that important, then tell me. Tell me what that object is. I can also help you guys to find '''That Thing''' ." I said to Kiana . I am sure , I sounded very serious.
Kiana took a deep breath. Then she looked at Kilian and nodded her head. She started to stutter, " Accctually...th...th..that object.."
"Forget about that object . We didn't find it after searching for it so much. So just forget about '''That Thing ''' , both of you.", said Kilian while cutting off Kiana .
Is he seriously asking us to just forget it?? Kiana was about to say...Ugh... Kiana almost said it. Now I am more curious about ''' That Thing'''.
"You better say it Kilian; otherwise, I might do something to you." , I told him.

The room went to pin drop silence mode. In the room it was the three of us only. I don't know why, but I felt like the one who is standing outside of the room is none other than our MOTHER ....THE DUCHESS.
I looked at Kilian and Kiana one by one. They looked like they didn't want to open the door. But someone has to open the door. This room's light is still on , so the person outside of the room knows I am awake. I just sighed and went to open the door.
Before opening, I looked back , and signalled them to hide. They should probably understand my signal.
I looked at the door and took a deep breath. I opened the door, and guess what?? It was really the Duchess!!!!! I opened the door a little, so that the Duchess couldn't see the inside.
" What happened?? Why are you looking at me like that , Miriana?" , asked the Duchess.
She looks like she will really scold us , if she sees Kilian and Kiana here. She told us to go to sleep early, because tomorrow is The Princess Tea Party. Me and Kiana will be attending that Tea Party, moreover Kilian will escort both of us.
We even ate the supper early today. I nervously looked at The Duchess and said , " I was about to go to sleep.."
"Why aren't you opening the door properly? I want to come inside, and have a talk with you." ,said The Duchess with a serious face.
"HUH??I...I.I...I.. ." Ugh....why am I stuttering like this. I should say something properly. I should...
The Duchess looked at me for a second, before pushing the door open.
" What are you both doing here?", asked the Duchess with a bewildered expression.
Seriously guys!!!!! Why didn't they hide??? Now both of you will get scolded by The Duchess. Kilian and Kiana were standing like a statue.

" Miriana " , The Duchess called out my name.
" .Uh...Yes..D....Mother.." Ok, I should work on this thing. I can't always be this awkward , while calling her mother.
The Duchess sighed. Then she came to me and held my hand. Whoa...what is she going to say????
" Miriana, I am sorry. I know it's late. I should have said this before, when you came back from The North. I...I. how should I even say this..?? Your father went to The North time to time, but he couldn't meet you." , said The Duchess with a sad voice.
"....." I don't have any idea what she's talking about. Wait a second...The North?? So Miriana was really sent to The North??
" We just didn't wanted you to get engaged, to The Crown Prince. The Oracle suddenly came, and those priests were going to name you The Saintess. " , said The Duchess.
" Why couldn't..Th..father meet meet me??", I asked The Duchess seriously. Let's find out things one by one.
" Because you might cling to your father. After all, at that time you were really stubborn. We tried to explain you so many times, but you just didn't understand. It's not your fault, we should have explained more to you." , said The Duchess while patting my head.

I don't know why , but my vision was getting blurry. Why is it getting so blurry suddenly??
"Miriana, Don't cry my dear. Don't cry." , said The Duchess while hugging me. I burried my face in her shoulder.

Suddenly, I felt like someone hugged me from behind.

" Ah...honey..you are really...something. You acted like you are angry with Miriana , but here you are. Don't tell me you were listening our conversation secretly!!!" , said The Duchess while laughing.
So it's The Duke..... I am feeling suffocated. Ah..... I should try to push him away...
The Duke stopped hugging me. Whoa....finally..I can take some breath....
"..No...no..I wasn't. I was just passing by, and saw both of you hugging each other. So I just ...I just came to join the fun." , said The Duke . But anyone can tell by his voice, he was nervous.
" Yes...yes..Whatever you say." , said The Duchess Smilingly.
"Why was Father angry with me??" I asked while looking at the Duke.
The Duke looked at me with surprised eyes. Like he didn't expect I would ask him something like this.
He started to say,"Ah..huh...that..you listened to that girl and her mother. Then you either ignored us or behaved rudely with us. How can one be so stupid?? You look just like me. But they said you aren't our daughter, and you believed it. How can you be so stupid? Even Kilian isn't stupid like that. You could have asked us , but you didn't. We thought we should give you more time to adjust, but you were thinking we would abandon you. How can you be so silly? Even Kiana isn't so silly. You said you wanted to be The Duke , however with your intelligence you will only be pushed around by others. How can.."
"Stop it , honey. That's enough. ", ordered The Duchess while gesturing The Duke to stop talking.
It was really a long speech. But if I put together his speech, he was calling me a stupid,fool,idiot,silly etc.
But he's talking about Miriana, not me. But Kiana said I am Miriana. It won't hurt , if I think of myself as Miriana.
